Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
He would certainly start since there are majority of our team capable of putting in decent performances are simply not doing so & the rest are simply not capable of doing so

Tore, Zaza & Nordtveit are rubbish

Calleri might come good but not worth a place at the moment

The team should obviously revolve around our best players so Lanzini, Payet, Antonio & Ayew (once fit) will need to somehow be accommodated

Without wishing to state the bleeding obvious, our current problems stem from a lack of tackling in midfield which has made our back 4 look like rabbits in the headlights

Perhaps Fernandes can do the job?

FWIW, got talking to a mate of mine at football last week...he's French and a big OM fan.

I asked him about Ayew.

He was full of praise - top player, sorry to see him leave etc Reckons Ayew will do brilliantly at West Ham.

I too would play him just off another striker/forward.

As for the rest of the team; up to the manager.

I rate Ayew very highly though. We have to accommodate him in the team.

Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
In his natural position left wing. Payet moves to right wing and Antonio (our only natural striker who knows how to score) as striker.

Drop all other dross, sick note and moody strikers to the bench. Shame Bilic hasn't got the conviction to do it, as that is what a top manager would do. Playing with 10 men every week will see him out of a job by Christmas.

Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
Yeah, part of a front two. He could be a black Kevin Nolan for big Andy.

I'd try him up front with Zaza in a 4-4-2.

Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
Right now, up front. Though he reckons his best position is the same as payet and here's only one winner there.

On a side note, how fat did sakho let himself get to still be unfit now???

Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
Absolutely.

Probably at centre forward given the state of the team at the moment.

He'd be up front no issues.

Re: If Ayew was fit? Would he start?
Since we currently do not have a striker worthy of the title its pretty damn obvious to me.

Zaza should go before we get stung for £25m, Callieri can go now, AC should be wrapped in cotton wool once fit and moved on in January. So lets start with Fletcher, bring in Sakho as soon as we are able and hope Ayew is fit before we hit rock bottom (we could get a taste of that today if Stoke and Sunderland win)!
